About the Program

Simply click here to nominate a firefighter. It can be someone in your squad, someone in your family, or someone in your community. Nominate as many worthy candidates as you want – we’re looking for those firefighters who go above and beyond to make health and safety a priority for themselves and for their squad.

 
Well-deserved Awards

Each month, Hale will choose a top nominee to be Safe Firefighter of the Month. That individual will win a $100 Visa gift certificate for their firehouse.

All nominees will have their photos featured on the honor role section of this site.

The Grand Prize – Safe Firefighter of the Year

At the 2012 FDIC show, Hale will choose a Safe Firefighter of the Year from among the monthly winners. A $10,000 health and safety prize will be awarded to the firehouse of the individual named Safe Firefighter of the Year at the FDIC.
